I think that there is an old manual in Spanish and a tutorial

I’ve checked the PC & the only manual that I have is Portugese

However, there is the Working with tools pdf (roughly translated to Spanish) in this topic: Manual de usuario en español - #8 by Grace

They are both very old and the icons have changed, but most of the principals remain the same.

Hola a todas!!, Llevo algunos años empleando Seamly, pero últimamente, y más hoy estoy algo desesperada. Siempre veo que salen nuevas versiones semanales del programa y ayer me animé a actualizar, por si había alguna nueva herramienta. Pero cuál es mi desesperación cuando al instalar en mi Mac la nueva versión ésta se cierra en cuanto clico en la tecla de formulas para introducir una medida. ¿Hay alguien más a quién le pase?, ¿Estoy haciendo algo mal? ¿Qué versión me bajo para que no se cierre el programa? Gracias.

Seamly 2D keeps crashing on Mac OS Monterrey

Little Update to everyone experiencing this issue, I’ve noticed that after clicking on ‘‘settings’’ under the point of ‘‘seamly2d’’ im getting a window with a warning looking like this: [Bildschirmfoto 2022-07-25 um 12.57.22] after clicking OK and closing the settings window I’m able to run seemly without crashings. This might help you to work with the program for now. Best, Philip

Thank you for your answer @Grace, but in my case there is no sign or notice, the program simply closes and so on every time.

Siempre veo que salen nueva Pero cuál es mi desesperación cuando al instalar en mi Mac la nueva versión ésta se cierra en cuanto clico en la tecla de formulas para introducir una medida.

Does this happen with clicking any Fx button?

I will take a look at the Fx dialog and see if I notice anything that may be an issue. Thing is I have no way to test a Mac distribution, so I’m at a disadvantage. Unless we can pinpoint where the issue is, it could be trial and error to find the problem. Other problem is, the MacOs handles some of the window signals a bit different - such as in the dialogs, so while the code may look ok for Windows & Linux, it may fail with Macs.

We’ll figure it out eventually.

Seamly 2D keeps crashing on Mac OS Monterrey

Hello to All, I’m also experiencing the same issues with seamly2d on my MB Air M1 running on macOS Monterey. I’ve had crashes after clicking the formular button as mentioned above and tried to delete the app, restart my computer and use the older versions from August 2021, both 30th and 24th. On those I now do have a issue with the program constantly crashing after closing the window of variables. Is there something else I can try ? edit: also its not to open my old patterns anymore as they’re…
