From the recent commits of Roman,I understand there is a dispute with Suzane. Would be fine to know the reasons of each other.
In general, it is not a good situation. Some forks failed and unfortunately the original project didn’t progress in the right direction (for example Redmine which is the best open source software in its category but …). Up to now Valentina is the personal project of Roman, all the code reflect the minds of Roman. It is not easy to switch to a collective development.
I am afraid on the business folks that could happen on such large audience software…
Anyway, Roman delivered a great open source software which didn’t existed before !!!
