Software usability when drawing a full trouser pattern

Dear all,

I feel there is serious usability issues with the software actually.

For example when we draw an Italian pocket for a trouser. If we use a another piece for the pocket then we lost all the geometry of the trouser, which is bad. But if we use the same piece then we have to add segmented curves everywhere just to make the work-pieces ( in the case we cannot or want to use linear segments ), and then we face a messed drawing and selection issue instead …

Maybe a workaround is to do that at the end and create visibility group.

When constructing a trench coat, I ended with one pattern piece but 15 visibility goups. And then 14 details …

I feel your pain. I have a jeans pattern set up and the segmentation is killing me.
