Rotating work pieces for control

Hi folks,

I have been using valentina/seamly for a bit, getting a lot of joy out of it. Now, I would like to post my first question here - apologies if I have missed an already existing answer.

So: I have a pattern with two work pieces. Is there a way to rotate one of the work pieces, so that I can view them next to each other (in order to check that two curves run smoothly into each other, from work piece 1 to work piece 2)?

Any response would be greatly appreciated, flugzeug

Hello and welcome, @flugzeug

Currently, there is no way to do this as a temporary exercise, however, I would suggest that you use the move and rotate tools to move the 2 pieces to an aria outside of your pattern to check them:

This way, when you do alter the angle or length of a curve handle, you will be able to nip over to the moved objects to check the effect immediately in the moved objects.

I hope this helps you

Salut sofe and Grace,

Thanks for your help! It took me a little while to understand how the move & rotate tools work - now it works and solves my problem!

Merci, flugzeug
