I think it would be really helpful to have a tool (exactly like the measurement tape tool in Inkscape) in Draw AND Detail view, with which we can measure any given distance between two points.
Yes, actually after your comment i begin to think i should not add more
then one way to do something. If not do this the application became more
and more complicated for users.

I’m using green color and dotted line for the measurement lines.
