Hello and welcome, @Malicat

I’m very impressed with your idea to have a Seamly learning group. Unfortunately, I only speak English, but if I can help in anyway, please don’t hesitate to ask.

There are a whole lot of videos links listed in the Wiki

And here You can download a handy tool reference sheet & see some other videos Spanish

I see that pixel y punto has a whole series of videos. It looks really good

I hope you find a group of interested people in your area. :slightly_smiling_face: I started a similar group and it has really be helpful. Even though none of us are experts on the program or in pattern making, we all have something to contribute and it helps us to stay focused on learning the process of both.

Best of luck to you.

I’m sorry about this. It’s a safety feature to prevent spammers from cluttering up our forum. It will go away soon.

Well don’t worry any problem.

Don’t feel bad… I’ve been programming Seamly2D for several years now, and I’m still not sure what a couple of the tools do.

You’re in the right place though, and there’s always someone here to help you out.

Hi @Douglas I hope to learn soon, for now I’m just creating simple shapes, but I’m having trouble adding the seams correctly, the system doesn’t recognize some control points on the curves :woman_facepalming:

Select the node before the curve and change the After width to 0:

And then select the node after the curve and change the Before width to 0:

If you have any nodes on the curve then you will need to change both the before & after widths to 0:

And this is the result:

I hope this helps
